On Wednesday 17 September, year 9 and year 10 students took part in the Pathfinders campus visit at the University of Lincoln, designed to give them an inspiring insight into higher education and future career opportunities.
The day began with a welcome talk before students joined a series of engaging sessions tailored to their year groups. Year 9 explored “why go to university?”, toured the TV studios, and experienced a hands-on look at medicine. Meanwhile, year 10 had the chance to step into the TV studios, learn about medicine, and take part in a debating and ethics session.
The programme allowed students to explore university-style learning, gain a deeper understanding of the pathways available to them, and build confidence about the choices they will face in the future.
The visit was both informative and interactive, offering our students a valuable opportunity to experience life on campus while beginning to consider their own aspirations.
