Primary events

We run an active programme of events for primary school pupils to enable them to experience life in a secondary school setting and to take part in masterclasses to experience some our specialist teaching areas on offer.

These events are on offer to all years 4, 5 and 6 pupils and can be booked by parents or by the primary school itself.

Curriculum enrichment days

Our enrichment days are unique to Walton and allow year 5 pupils to spend the day at Walton to engage with curriculum areas within the classroom setting.

Local feeder primary schools are invited to take part and dates will be published online in  due course.

Academy in Action days

We run a series of Academy in Action days throughout the school year, which are open to pupils across age groups.

Parents and students can visit the academy at these events to see our students in lessons and to take part in various activities as part of a typical academy day.
