To avoid form filling during the transition period, we have included the pastoral forms that need completing in your child’s transition pack that they will receive over the next few weeks when our leadership team visit the primary schools. We kindly ask for parents/carers to complete all the pastoral forms and bring them to the parent meeting on Monday 1 July 2024. The forms will be collected on arrival at the academy. If you experience any issues, please contact the academy for further support.

Our three day transition programme takes place on Tuesday 2, Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 July 2024.

Frequently asked questions

We run an active programme of events for primary school students to enable them to experience life in a secondary school setting and to take part in masterclasses to experience some of our specialist teaching areas on offer.

These events are on offer to all years 4, 5 and 6 pupils and can be booked by parents or by the primary school itself.

Our enrichment days are unique to Walton and allow year 5 students to spend the day at Walton to engage with curriculum areas within the classroom setting. All local feeder primary schools are invited to take part.
