School admissions are administered by Lincolnshire County Council. You can find out more about the appeals process on their website.
Admissions Appeals
Appealing a school place decision should only be done if you have already applied:
- for a school place for the September intake and have been refused a place at a school.
- to move schools for an in-year place and have been refused a place at a school.
To appeal the decision of Walton Academy to refuse a place, you will need to complete the appeals form and return it to us, along with any supporting evidence you would like to be considered by the panel.
Paper copies of the form are available on request. Please contact enquiries@walton.ac.org.uk for further assistance.
We will acknowledge receipt of the form within five school days.
Admissions appeals for year 7 entry 2025
National offer day will take place on 3 March 2025. If you have not been offered a place for your child at Walton Academy and would like to appeal, we must receive your completed appeals form by 31 March 2025.
Walton Academy uses the Lincolnshire County Council independent appeals panel for appeal hearings. More information about the appeal hearing process is available here:
