This evening, Walton Academy’s year 11 students came together for one final celebration as a year group, enjoying their prom at the beautiful Belton Woods Hotel.
After five years of learning, friendships and personal growth, the evening provided an opportunity to reflect on their time at Walton Academy and celebrate the memories they have made together before moving on to the next stage of their journey.
Students made a spectacular entrance as they arrived on the red carpet, dressed elegantly for the occasion. Family members gathered to capture the moment, while friends reunited for photographs before the celebrations got underway.
Inside, guests were welcomed with a mocktail reception, giving everyone the chance to relax, catch up and enjoy the atmosphere before sitting down to dinner. Throughout the evening, the room was filled with conversation, laughter and plenty of photographs as students marked the end of an important chapter in their lives.
As the music began, the dance floor quickly became the centre of the celebration, with students making the most of the opportunity to enjoy one last evening together as a year group.
Everyone at Walton Academy would like to congratulate the Class of 2026 on reaching this important milestone. We wish each and every student the very best for the future, whatever path they choose to follow, and look forward to welcoming them back on GCSE results day in August.
