On 7 November 2018, our annual Achievement Awards took place, recognising the outstanding GCSE results of 2018.
Former year 11 students received awards across a wide range of categories including: progress, attainment, attendance, core values, House award, Carol Plummer – Literacy Award and the Buttery Cup for Student of the Year.
This year the Buttery Cup was awarded to Elena Boby, a worthy winner who excelled in her examinations and exemplified our core values of “Excellence, Courage, Commitment and Ownership”.
It was a fantastic evening and a great opportunity to welcome back year 11 students who have started on exciting new pathways outside of Walton Post 16.
