With three World Cup finals under his belt, he played a pivotal role in securing England’s victory in the 2003 Rugby Union World Cup in Sydney, Australia. In the rugby union realm, Robinson earned 51 international caps for England and holds the distinction of being the first black man to captain the England team. In rugby league, he represented Great Britain twelve times and England seven times. Robinson’s contributions were recognised with the MBE in 2003 and the OBE in 2008, both acknowledging his significant role in the world of rugby.
