Post 16 students are invited to join a visit to the UK University and Apprenticeship Search Fair, to be held at the King Power Stadium, Leicester on Friday 15th March 2019. Students will have the opportunity to visit stands for universities and UK companies offering high and degree apprenticeships and gain expert advice on the next steps in their careers. The exhibitors include Russell Group universities and the University of Oxford. There will be interactive stands demonstrating opportunities within fields such as STEM, creative and business. There are a range of seminars including:
- Why take an Apprenticeship?
- Oxbridge applications
- Life at University
- Student Finance
We will be travelling by coach, departing Walton at 09.30 and returning before 15.35. Students will be able to purchase food at the fair or bring packed lunches. Students are asked to wear smart dress.
We are delighted that we have secured funding for travel from both LiNCHigher and the organising body which means there is no travel cost.
