In a captivating showdown against Charles Read Academy, Walton’s year 7 team demonstrated unwavering resolve on the pitch. Despite facing early setbacks, including a swift counterattack that saw Charles Read take the lead, Walton Academy rallied with a stellar performance. Kian’s close-range finish just before halftime ignited the team’s momentum, setting the stage for a thrilling second half.

Adam emerged as the hero of the match, unleashing two remarkable long-range strikes to propel Walton into a commanding lead. Despite Charles Read’s late surge, Walton’s cohesive team effort, fortified by goalkeeper Tilly’s exceptional saves, ensured a 4-2 victory.
