Year 7 and 8 students have returned to school with a bang this term.    Their enthusiasm and thirst for learning is exemplary.

Nowhere is this more evident than when students were tasked with creating representations of cells as part of the academy’s Science Week.   They certainly they took up this scientific challenge with real gusto.

The science faculty took delivery of written work, 3-D models and artwork in all shapes and sizes – students even baked and decorated ‘cell’ cakes that would definitely earn a Paul Hollywood handshake!

Well done to all our students for going that extra mile and learning all about cells.
