Year 12 Post 16 students recently took part in an enrichment visit to Grantham Tennis Club, where they developed key leadership skills through a series of practical activities.

The session focused on building confidence in communication, teamwork and decision-making. Through a range of tennis-based challenges, students worked collaboratively and took turns leading tasks, gaining valuable experience of leadership in an active and supportive environment.

Students demonstrated strong levels of engagement throughout the day, approaching each activity with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges. Their ability to work together and step into leadership roles contributed to a successful and rewarding experience.

Well done to all students involved.

Experiences such as this form an important part of the Walton Post 16 enrichment programme, supporting students to develop transferable skills that will benefit them in their future studies, careers and wider life beyond Walton Academy.
