On Wednesday 11 March, Walton Academy’s year 7 netball team took part in their very first tournament, held at Priory Ruskin Academy.
Nine students proudly represented the academy as they competed against seven teams from local schools in a series of fast-paced matches.
Throughout the tournament, the team showed great determination and enthusiasm. As the matches progressed, the players grew in confidence and worked hard together on court, showing clear improvement with every game.
There were many close and exciting matches, giving the team valuable experience and plenty of opportunities to develop their skills in a competitive environment.
The students demonstrated excellent teamwork and resilience throughout the afternoon, supporting one another in every match while maintaining a positive attitude. Most importantly, they enjoyed the experience and represented Walton Academy brilliantly.
Well done to the team — we are incredibly proud of you.
