Yesterday, Sunday 3 March, marked the departure of an exciting journey for our year 10 students from Walton Academy. With great enthusiasm and anticipation, 33 students embarked on a special educational trip to Disneyland Paris.
Setting off promptly at 6am from the school grounds, our students boarded the ferry from Dover, beginning their voyage towards the magical world of Disney. Upon reaching Disneyland Paris, the students were warmly welcomed to the Explorers Hotel, where they will be staying during their time at the park.
Today, our students will immerse themselves in the wonders of Walt Disney Studios Park. From thrilling attractions to captivating shows, they are exploring the park with curiosity and enthusiasm. The highlight of the day is the Maths Live conference, where our students will have the opportunity to engage with mathematics in a unique and exciting way, all within the magical setting of Disneyland Paris.
Tomorrow promises to be another day filled with adventure as our students explore the main Disney Park. With beloved characters to meet and exciting rides to experience, our students are sure to create lasting memories.
