How will Arts Award be delivered?

The qualification is delivered over two years and structured around two key units. Students will take part in workshops, research, independent projects, and leadership experiences, all of which will be documented through a personal arts portfolio.

Assessment

Students are assessed through a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates how they meet the criteria for both units. Portfolios can take any form – written, visual, or digital – and should clearly show development, leadership, and reflection throughout the course.

There are no written exams. The full qualification is completed over the two-year programme.

Progression

Gold Arts Award is a Level 3 qualification that carries UCAS points and supports progression into creative industries, higher education, and arts-related training.
