Walton has been ranked within the Top 10 schools in Lincolnshire following publication of the Real Schools Guide 2019.
The county’s ten best schools were published in the guide on 17 July 2019, which looks at 51 different aspects. Factors such as GCSE results and Attainment 8 scores have been taken into consideration, while pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates are also put under the microscope.
The Top 10 county placing heralds even more success for Walton, after publication of the Department for Education’s Progress 8 scores in October 2018 placed Walton as the top school in Grantham for progress and the highest performing non-selective school in Lincolnshire.
