A number of talented artists from Walton have been awarded prizes in the Willoughby Memorial Trust Art Competition 2019.

This open art competition for both adults and young people is run annually by the Willoughby Memorial Trust Gallery in Corby Glen, and prizes are awarded across various age groups and categories.

In the Class 4 category, Walton student Gabby Lucas came in third place, with Amy Seprini and Madahavika Thottahil being awarded ‘highly commended’ for their entries.

In the Class 5 category, Jasmine Flowers was awarded first place. Walton students Natalia Sobczak and Zeta Hoyes both received ‘highly commended’ prizes.

The students will collect their awards at a prize-giving event on Friday, 29 November 2019 at the gallery.

Here at Walton, we are extremely proud of them all.
