Year 8 students visited the Natural History Museum in London on 7 March 2019 as part of a geography trip.

In the morning they visited the volcanoes and earthquakes gallery where students got to explore the exhibits and see the topic they had learnt about in lessons brought to life. The gallery included an earthquake simulator, a volcano and earthquake locator and an example of a heat-resistant suit.

After lunch students were able to explore the museum’s other galleries as part of a day of learning about our natural world.
